Hello and welcome to HCM,

Progesterone (regesterone) is secreted in breast milk in lactating mothers.
The deleterious effects of progesterone in breast fed babies is not well established however it is recommended to take progesterone during lactation only when absolutely necessary during lactation.
Observe your menstrual cycles for some more time.
If they remain irregularly irregular, you need to consult your gynecologist to look for the cause of menstrual irregularities.
Hormonal preparations are best avoided during lactation.
You can resume hormonal therapy, if required after you stop lactating your baby.

Thanks and take care

Hello, welcome to HCM,
It’s better to avoid Regesterone while breastfeeding. The drug can pass on to the baby through your milk; though the effect of the drug on the baby is unknown then also it’s not recommended. There are few progesterone only pills available which you can use during this time but under your gynaecologist assistance.
Hope this will help you. Follow up query’s are welcome.

Take care,
