Malarone, History Of Stomach Ulcer, Mild Diarrhea, Slight Blood With Stool

I am currently in cambodia. Taking malarone . history of small stomach ulcer , with no recent issues(last 12 months). Had mild diarrhoea last 5 days. Today noticed slight blood with stool at 2pm. 5pm no stool only maybe 10ml of blood. 6:45pm no stool and maybe 10ml of blood.

Hello there,

This could be case of dysentry if you have blood / mucus in your stool. Was this associated with any fever or abdominal pain or vomiting? Was it fresh blood (red in colour) or altered blood(black in colour). If it was black in colour , it could also be a bleeding stomach ulcer. Any past history of piles ? I would suggest that you visit your physician at the earliest to evaluate your condition. Get well soon :)
