Lung Pain While Breathing In And Feeling Cold. What Is Causing This?

About. Three today I d had a sudden pain in my lungs, like a shocking pain when I d breath in. This was followed by a cold chill within minutes, I figured a hot shower would fix me. While in the shower my body went into crippling chill, painfully crippling and everywhere, and about a 103 temp. Passed out wrapped in blankets freezing painfully and covered in sweat. Any ideas what caused it, it s roughly 6 hrs later and I feel great.

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

Following investigations will be helpful :-
1. Complete Blood Count(CBC).
2. General Blood Picture(GBP).
3. Urine examination(Routine/Microscopic and Culture/Sensitivity).
4. Chest X-Ray(PA view).

You can take paracetamol 500 mg for fever.
Other medications can be planned according to the reports of the above mentioned tests.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
