Lump On Back Of Neck, Pea Sized And Hard, Painful, Cyst
Hi,i have a small hard lump on the back of my neck it s pea sized and hard.it is painfull,which is confusing me.im 40 years old.I ve just seen a doctor who said it is a cyst and the nhs will not remove it.it rubs against the collar of my shirts when im at work 5/6 days a week.I have no other medical conditions,the last time i visited a doctor was in 2009.I think there is something wrong and it should be removed,it would nt be painfull if there was nt something wrong.It appeared last December and has got slightly bigger lately and painfull which is why i visited a doctor.

since the lump is troubling you , its better to get it removed because symptomatic lump is indication for removal. Also after removal histopathology report will confirm the diagnosis
