Numbness In Back, Lump On Neck, Painful Cyst. Cause?

Hi I have had a problem with my neck , head and back. I have had a sore neck and head. I also have numbness in the middle of my back. I have a lump on the bottom of my neck/head, which I have been told is a cyst , it is a bit painful, but I was told it was not infected. At the moment I have a pain going from near the back of my ear to my shoulder tip. Could this lump on the back of my neck/head (on the hairline) be causing all the numbness and pain in my head,neck,shoulder and back?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
With the available described symptoms, there appears to be possibility of suspected cystic mass causing pressure effect on nerves.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ neurologist and should go for thorough check up.
Affected area defined by you is supplied by C2 and C3 nerve radicles and may be compressed by cystic mass which may also be connected by spinal cord and surrounding tissue.
You should go for CT/ MRI scan of the affected spine for better clarification.
