Lump In Armpit, Sore Throat, Tiredness, Chest Pain, Mucus In Eyes. Medical Attention Required?

I found a lump about the size of a dime in my armpit and 3 days later I know have a very sore throat and a tender throat. I ve also been very tired this past 2 weeks and am having on and off chest pains. I m not Coughing, my. nose is clear and my eyes aren t really running but there is a lit of Mucus in them when I wake up. What do I have and should I go to a doctor?

By your query I came to knew that you are having severe sore throat and lump in armpit. Along with this you are also having off and on chest pain, though you have no cough and your nose is also clear.

Your lump in armpit needs an special attention for examination of chest as lymphatic drainage in armpit is mainly from chest.

Some times chest infection also give rise to sore throat. Since you are feeling tiredness also which is in favor of some chronic infection in chest or somewhere else. Keeping all these possibilities you may do-

1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab / sputum.

2- Sputum for Afb.

3- X-Ray chest (P.A. View).

4- FNAC from lump.

By these investigations and a thorough examination one may made proper diagnosis which may be accordingly manage.
