Loose Stools, Blood Seen. Had Protected Sex. Is This Some STD Infection Or HIV?

Hi, I'm 22 this year and I've been having an episode of loose stools for the second week. And just a moment ago, I found blood on the toilet paper after passing another bout of loose stools.
FYI, I had a protected sex just a week ago. Might this due to any std infection or HIV?
Please advise thanks, I'm freaking out now ):

Hi,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.

I can understand your stress regarding the possibility of HIV infection.

The most important information to provide you is that your problem is not at all related to HIV infection.

The symptoms of HIV infection generally begins weeks to months after exposure and at the earliest in very rare cases have been seen in 2-3 weeks. Your symptoms of loose stool and blood in stool are not the symptoms of early HIV infection. These symptoms are also not the manifestation of any kind of other sexually transmitted infections also.
Most importantly as your sexual act was a protected and safe one so this makes the chances of HIV or any other STDs as nil or negligible.

Loose stool can be due to anxiety also, but blood on tissue paper tells some intestinal or anal problem. If the blood is fresh and bright red then is can be because of piles of simple cut at anus and if the blood is brownish then is internal intestinal problem.
So kindly reassure yourself for HIV and if the symptoms persist then can meet a surgeon or gastroenterologist.

Hope these informations will help.
