Kid losing weight. Stomach bloated, vomit. Need check up?

My 3 year old daughter has been loosing weight recently. Her ribs show but her stomach always looks bloated. She asks to eat so i assume she is hungry, but when she gets to the table she never eats and recently when she takes a few bites she vomits. She will eat applesauce and strawberries but not much of anything else. Should i get her belly checked? Maybe a ultrasound?

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Loosing weight and with prominent belly of your child needs pediatrician consultation.

Vomitings are also there so needs a compete review of her diet, history, physical examination and a detailed investigation work up to look for the causes of her weight loss.

What is her present and recent previous weight?

Is she suffering from any underlying heart, respiratory, or chronic infections?

I advise you to consult your Pediatrician for complete examination and evaluation for the weight loss.

Hope I have answered your query.
