Is Yellowing Around Incision Area Of Laparoscopic Appendix Surgery Normal?

Hello, I had laparoscopic appendix surgery last Tuesday night and I am seeing some yellowing around two of the incision areas. Is this normal? Also, I haven't had a bowel movement since I left the hospital (Friday). Is it okay to take stool softeners while recovering from this type of surgery?

Dear yellowing around the areas of incision due to bruising. Bruising due to leakage of blood in surrounding area which hemoglobin breakdown to form iron and oxygen dissipate gives blue to pink then hemoglobin breakdown to deliver biliverdin give green tinge time fades it became yellow. It is a normal process in healing don't worry. But if observe, swelling any discharge from the site please consult your doctor immediately.
