I'm not sure whether I have an STD or a yeast infection. I had unprotected genital contact, not sex, but just contact. A week later, I got my period and felt a burning and itching sensation in my vagina. The itching persisted for a few days after my period. Now, there is redness accompanied with a yellow discharge. The discharge does not have a strong odor. Additionally, today, I noticed a red, slightly smaller than a pea size bump. I scheduled an appointment with the gynocologist, but wondered what I may have?
