Is There Any Steroid Free Medicine To Permanently Cure Seoborrheic Dermatitis ?
i m suffering from seoborrheic dermatitis,(scalp and face) the issue is very serious as it is extremely difficult to move outside as my total face is going red and extremely dry and itching. so plz suggest something which is easily available and steroid free and permanently curable.

Seoborrheic dermatitis is a very common disease prevailing in high humidity areas, as u ve been suffering from it, please take care of your personal hygiene and wash your face every 4 hrs with mild soap or face wash, as it help in reducing extra oil from your skin.

For the seborrheic dermatitis on your scalp, I would suggest you use shampoo ARCOLANE 2% which needs to be applied on the scalp and washed off after 20 minutes. For the face, you can use a topical lotion containing ketoconazole. This should take care of the problem.
Also, once this settles down, wash your face with soap and maintain good hygiene. Given the extreme nature of your symptoms, I think you would need a mild steroid to settle things down. Please see a dermatologist for the same.

The extent and nature of your expressing the condition of seborrheic dermatitis gives an impression of your problem. Many a time due to itch and rubbing secondary infection also develops and makes the condition more troublesome. You will be needing both topical application and internal medicine to get rid of it permanently. Crush fenugreek seeds and soak them in curd overnight and apply this on scalp for half an hour and then wash your head. Internally medicines like mahamanjishtha arisht haridra khand and trifla guggul are used. These are blood purifying herbs and will cure it permanently. Avoid exposure to dry winds have balanced diet and do your exercise regularly. maintain proper hygeine.
