Is There Any Option Other Than C-section For High BP During Pregnancy?

hello doc, i am 40 week pregnant my bp ranges from 120/80 to 150/90 my doc say i have to get c-section to deliver my baby, i want a normal delivery my due date is 27th july. I am on medication alphadopha and labebet. is there is any option other that c-sect?

Hello,
I had gone through your question and understand your concern.
According to your history and information, I would like to know whether you were having high BP during your pregnancy or it increased in 40th week only??any pedal edema or not??whether you have any other complication or not???
There are only two options: normal and CS delivery...if I were your treating doctor, then I would have given trial for normal delivery, if you don't have any other complications apart from high BP. Of course, there are chances of few complications during normal delivery, but they can be managed if one is prepared for that already...
So my advise to you is that you can take 2nd opinion from another gynec and tell your problem...if both opinions are directing towards CS, then you will have to follow them, because after all life is precious...
