Is The Endometrial Ablation Advisable For A Person Not In Pre Menopausal Condition?

I am 39 years old and my doctor advises me to have an endometrial ablation but im not pre menopausal and I have heard of women still having periods. I was going to have a supracervical hysterectomy but they wont let my doctor use the tool anymore to perform the procedure. Any thoughts
