Is Stomach Cramp And Brown Discharge Sign For Pregnancy?

I had sex with my boyfriend last week and our condom broke so we bought plan B, I took it within two hours of having sex and took the next one 12 hours later. The following day I threw up. I was on antibiotics and asked the pharmacist about it and he said it should be fine as long as it wasn t amoxicillin. A week later I have stomach cramps and Ive seen brown discharge when I wipe.. What s going on?

Hello,

Taking Plan B tablets after unprotected intercourse to prevent pregnancy is usually associated with such symptoms. They are high dose hormones which prevent pregnancy, so they tend to cause hormonal imbalance and thus periods start and hence the brown discharge which you noticed. Throwing up is due to GI disturbance caused by high dose hormones.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
