Is Spotting Normal During Pregnancy?
I am five weeks pregnant and started to experience spotting. Then I had a small gush of red blood. I m scared. Could this be normal? Last night I had sex, could this have caused the blood. In my previous pregnancy this was the case. I m not sure what to think, but afraid of having a miscarriage which I ve never had one before. What should I do?

Yes this is a case of threatened abortion... Sexual activity may lead to it...so avoid such activity... Now u should consult a gynecologist....per vaginal examination and usg will help diagnosis...then treated accordingly with tab progesterone to continue pregnancy and tab tranexemic acid to stop bleeding... Take rest..if abdominal pain..tab dicyclomine is advised
