Is Nyquil Sufficient For Treating Sore Throat?

Hi - my ears feel very full but not painful and I have a sore throat, like from post nasal drip. My nose is not stuffy but I do feel run down and quite tired. I'm 35 and no other health issues. Any thoughts on whether I need to go see my doctor for antibiotics? Treat with Nyquil at home? Or something else? Thanks!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello, post nasal drip, fullness in ears, sore throat suggests ur suffering from sinusitis with eusthacian tube( tube which connect ear and nose) blockage. in my opinion u can start tab . cefixime200 mg twice daily for 7 days with NyQuil twice daily for 3 days, xylomist nasal drops 3 drops/ 3 times/ 1week. if the ear block continue visit ent surgeon for audiological tests and ear examination.
