Is Nerve Blocks Safe Option To Treat Migraine And What Is The Difference Between That And Botox Injections?

I am trying to research the effectiveness of nerve blocks for chronic migraines. I am at my wits end after my last bout which lasted 6 days of nausea, vomiting and vertigo, and ended only days ago and has already begun a new
bout, less severe, but enough to keep me from doing anything. I have suffered for over 20 years, I am 56 and have not had a me trial period in 2 years and 2 months. I have tried every anti depressant, anti seizure, acupuncture! massage, vitamin and mineral supplements and have lost my job a year ago due to the excessive absences. I hope I do 't have to pay for this answer because I have paid more than enough for doctors and medications and emergency room visits already. I have had three whip lash car accidents all 15 to 20 years ago and had recent shoulder surgery that has made my one shoulder a bit higher than the other. I have had an MRI about a year ago when I felt my memory was failing more than normal, and prior to that about 10 years or so ago, an MRI ordered by the neurologist
that Has been treating me. Nothing shows up other than some osteoarthritis? I want my life back. I get at least10 to 12 migraines in a month, and have missed more weddings, birthdays and even my best friends funeral due to the migraines. I realize than others have even more a month, but I am completely disabled when they hit. Is looking into nerve blocks a safe and effective option, and what is the difference between that and Botox injections for migraines. Please advise.
