A friend of mine was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 4 months ago she has been through 5 chemo treatments and is starting to have a very hardy appetite gaining some weight and and bowel movements seem to be getting back to normal. I was wanting to know if these are signs that her tumor my be shrinking?
An improvement in apetite and gain in weight are indirect indicators of shrinkage of tumor. However, a repeat CT scan will provide exact change in tumor size. I hope it answers your query.
