Is Mecofol Plus Capsules Safe For Deep Vein Thrombosis?
I, have been under treatment for Deep Vein Thrombosis on the right lower limb since may 2011, and taking the following medicines Nuroday 1500 Warf-5 Tenormin-.25 Folacin Rampril- .5 Now I, would like to know if MECOFOL PLUS Capsule can be taken instead of NURODAY 1500 if you can go thro the reports i will upload the reports for your review and favourable advise with regards. The salts alpha lipoic acid, folic acid, methylcobalamin 1500 mcg, Vitamin B6 are involved in the preparation of Mecofol Plus Capsule. It is commonly used for the treatment of adjuvant therapy for diabetes, anemia due to folic acid deficiency, adjuvant therapy in severe muscle tightness.
Nuroday 1500 mcg tablet is a form of vitamin B12 or methylcobalamin which is used to regulate certain vital bodily functions like cell multiplication, blood formation and protein synthesis. This medicine is used to help treat vitamin B12 deficiency in people who have pernicious anemia.
Both Nuroday and Mecofol Plus contains methylcobalamin 1500 mcg. But, Mecofol Plus contains extra ingredients like alpha lipoic acid, folic acid and vitamin B6 than Nuroday. Both Nuroday and Mecofol Plus are safe in patients with deep vein thrombosis.
