Is Less Amniotic Fluid Dangerous To Foetus During Pregnancy?

I visited doctor today for ultrasonography and he told me my aminiotic fluid volume is normal but comparatively less, single pocket depth is 4cm and fetal both kidneys shows minimally dilated pelvi-caliceal systems. My pregnancy is 20-21 weeks. Is my baby in danger?
