Is It The Progesterone Suppositories That May Lead To Bleeding?

I am 7 weeks pregrant, 3 days ago when I have bowel movement, My Dr advised me to use progesterone suppositories 100 mg per day (before night time). I went to Dr to do ultrsound, they can see the embryo heart beat. but I noticed that the discharge is getting darker this morning. Do I need to concern that? Is ithe progesterone supporitories going to cause the bleeding?

Hi. Progesterone suppositories are given for maintainence of pregnancy. It will not cause bleeding in any form. The reason for bleeding can be something else and if scan report is ok and showing heart beat and at the same time bleeding is getting darker, may be it is recovering but you should remain careful and be in touch with your dr. to see how it progresses.
