Is It Safe To Drink And Smoke, 15 Years After Having Stroke?

hi, my uncle had a stroke about 15 years ago. It left him with his left side paralyzed and unable to ever move again. He also had part of his heart fixed so it's sort of 'fake'. He drinks and smokes all the time and claims it doesn't effect him. Are there any effects of him smoking and drinking after a stroke so many years ago?

Hello

Smoking and alochol consumption are injurious to even to healthy persons.

Your uncle already had a stroke , smoking and drinking will only increase risk of another vascular event like stroke , MI etc.

thank you for choosing healthcare magic
