Is It Possible To Get Periods While Being Pregnant?

Hi there, I am on the pill at the moment but am panicking I might be pregnant. I took one pill late this cycle and have been feeling very bloated and sick for the past few days but have got my regular period. If I was pregnant would I get a period in the 7 day break from my pill?

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. In the current scenario, you are unlikely to receive a menstrual period if you are pregnant. Your symptoms during the past week are likely to be premenstrual. Though you took the oral contraceptive pill late, you are still well protected since you did not miss it. Please do not worry. Just watch your menstrual flow and report to your health care provider if you notice any abnormality in it. Your chances of pregnancy are nil. Hope your query is clarified. Wish you good health.
