Is It Normal To Have Only The Heart Beat Without Fetus Seen In 8th Week Of Pregnancy ?

hi..i m of 22 ..my dr. did ultrasound in my 1st month of pregnancy . n she didnt see baby then on eight week only heartbeat was heard n fetus was not clear..is everything ok?is baby growth normal?

thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.com.By 8 weeks you should see a worm like fetus with head end and tail end and also visualise heart beat.Possibly there is a delay in dates which happens when there is discrepancy between ultrasound and menstrual dates due to delayed conception.Please follow up and let us know.
