What Causes Slow Heart Beat Of Fetus During 10th Week Of Pregnancy?

hi, im ten weeks pregnant. on 8th week, we went to see our gynae, after scan we were told that our fetus heart beat is slow, same as my heart beat. on the 9th week, we went to see the dr again and were told that our fetus is not clearly seen when scanned. She suspected that my fetus is not growing as it should. Then we went for second opinion to the another gynae, after scanning the dr said that there was an uncleared fetus and dr suggested that we come again for another scan next week. Wahat do you think dr?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Slow heart beat in fetus ( less than100 beats per minute) in early pregnancy is suggestive of impending abortion or any chromosomal anomaly in fetus. Your doctor is right in suggesting you a repeat ultrasound after1 week to assess the fetal well being and further management accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
