Is It Normal To Have Lower Abdominal Pain, Pressure In Pelvic Area If Suffering From Endometriosis And Having Had Partial Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Cystectomy Previously?

Hi,

I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago because a fibroid on my uterus and a laparoscopic cystectomy a year ago. Currently I have just one ovary left and my doctor told me that I have something called Endometriosis. Since my last surgery I had pain in my lower abdomen from time to time but in the last 3 months I have a feeling like a presure in my pelvic area and it feels that something wants to come out of me. This feeling comes and goes without a reason, is happening maybe once or twice a month and it lasts for a day or so. Is this normal?

Thank you,

Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM
Dear as you are telling that you had a history of hysterctomy with cystectomy done and now there are chances that you might have endometriosis. Another thing you are mentioning you feel as if there is a feeling of something coming out of the vagina . I would like to tell that the cause of pain in the lower abdomen is probably due to endometriosis which i suggest to you that needs immediate attention , and your doctor knows best to remove it lapracsopically or go for the medical treatment , which i personally feel is useless at this this stage
And usually what happens after hysterectomy is something known as vault prolapse the part of the vagina and cervix sometimes starts protruding out , y, you must get yourself physically examined to confirm this . The usual treatment is that of putting a mesh that provides support
So follow this advice and take care
