Is It Normal To Get Dizziness And Spinning In Head When Taking Amoxicillin For Sinus Infection?
I take tegretol 400 mg twice daily. I've had a major head cold for 4 weeks ( sinuses completely blocked) they put me on amocylin . I am about three quarters of the way done with it( 1000mg twice day). My head presently is feeling a lot of pressure and a major dizziness is occurring, almost spinning in a sense. Is this normal for final stages of amocillon fighting off infection toward the end?

Hi Dizziness is light-headedness, feeling like you might faint, being unsteady, loss of balance, or vertigo (a feeling that you or the room is spinning or moving) are side effects of amoxicillin. If you are going to finish it then its ok.If the symptoms are more then you can reduce the dose to 500mg thrice daily after inform your doctor.Hope this may help you. thanks
