Is It Legal For An Anaesthesiologist To Give Valium Before A Surgical Abortion?
Is it legal for an anesthesiologist to authorize a nurse to give a patient valium before meeting the patient for consent of anesthesia before a surgical abortion? I have been told that this is not legal as it alters the patients ability to consent to anesthesia and therefore the procedure itself.
