Is It Advisable To Have "spots" On Your Skin Removed?

Is it advisable to have "spots" on your skin removed if the doctor says they appear as though they might be dysplastic and you previously had been diagnosed with having melanoma about 7 years prior but that "spot" had been surgically removed also 7 years ago ?
