Is Femilion Appropriate For Chocolate Cysts On Both Ovaries?
Hello aim forty years old yesterday I was diagnosed with chocolate cysts in both my ovaries measuring 5cms the treatment prescribed to me was taking contracevptive femilon for three cycles .My concern is whether this is going to be an effective treatment

Hi,
Yes, Femilon can be given.But if size of cyst is more and cyst are bilateral, symptomatic then management is mostly surgical. We need to either aspirate, excise the cyst. cystectomy is done either open or laproscopic or robotic.
