Is Cartigen Effective For Backache?

I am suffering from backace due to disc difuse bulge in L4-L5, L5-SI . The Doctor has advised me Cartigen/Duo, Calcium Tab and Ubi Car Tablet once each in a day. Since I am also suffering from Ulcer , only Ultracet tab was recommended for severe pain. Pl advise.
