My periods are consistent and come every 26 days like clockwork. typically, the first day is very light, the second day is heavier and I have lower abdominal pain then the third day is very heavy with some clotting, the 4th day is light, the 5th days is lighter, by the 7th day I have stopped. This cycle has been different for my 3rd days as by the late afternoon, I had major blood clots, to the point where I had to go to change my pads constantly, every 15 minutes because of the blood clots. what is strange to me is that they were massive, and I had never had that happen before. I am not sexually active and have not been for several years, I stopped taking the depo shot 3yrs ago. Am I going through early menopause?
