Is Abdominal Pain A Smoking Withdrawal Symptom?

Recently, i have quit smoking, I've only smoked for a year and a half and i stopped because my best friends mother had a heart attack from smoking. I'm feeling really good about myself, I'm able to breathe better and able to walk farther when i work out, but something really has been bothering me lately. About the first day into my journey to quit, i started getting weird lower left abdominal pain. I am a male. It feels as if something would be pulling on my intestine, only when i move it stings. Is my body's lack of nicotine making my intestine freak out? I'm thinking about going to my family doctor, just wanted some clarification from you.

yes it might be. Normally smoking withdrawal can cause gastric discomfort and constipation. However considering your duration of smoking those might be little. If your pain is decreasing not to worry. It will go away. In the morning just take a glass of warm water to make your digestive system to clear. However if pain persist or increased , please do not wait , go to doctor and take the treatment , it might be due to another reason also.
