Is Steroid Is Required For Chikungunia Pain Of Leg?

I had recently suffered from chickungunia and there was very severe pain in the left knee joint. the usual treatment for the pain did not respond. i was advised to take injection of steroid into the joint, will it be fine to take the steroid injection into the joint.

Why steroid injection is given for fever. It is given for allergy no!. I donot know why they have given this injection, check with your doctor

Yes, if the joint is very painful and has not recovered with conventional treatments. It will require steroid injection.
