Irritation In Ears, Slightly Painful, Blood In Bud. Have Frequent Ear Infection. Suggestions?

My ears irritate me and force me to use Ear buds (Both ears)happened to find blood on the bud when I was cleaning my right ear with a bit of pain.
I personally feel genetic issues do not work over here.Ear infection seems to be a regular problem for me.(My previous generations did not have a proper audibility).
Your suggestion for my problem please.

Hi dear
Welcome to the Board of health Care magic.

Dear friend such ear problems are not usually genetic.

But probably you are suffering with some ear wax or otomycosis (fungal Infection of the year)

You problem can well be treated by ENT surgeon .

Hope your query is answered

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM
You have Irritation in ears, slightly painful, blood in bud, Ear infection seems to be a regular problem.
These all finding suggestive of otits media with trauma in the ear. Please take the proper antibiotic and anti allergic drug. If you have only trauma in the ear without history of discharge in the ear then avoid ear drops, water , oil and bud. If there is history of discharge then use antibiotic ear drops.
better to consult ENT specialist.

Thanks

ENT Specialist Dr. Vaishali Mehta's  Response
Hello,

Irritation in the ears commonly occurs due to wax/fungus/allergies/ infection in the outer ears. Ear buds are not advisable as they can result in trauma to the ear canal resulting in pain and bleeding from the ear. The cause for itching/ irritation needs to be looked into and treated appropriately. This is possible by a physical examination of your ears. Kindly consult an ENT, as ear buds are not the solution to the problem. Also, such problems are not genetic by etiology. Hope I have answered your query.

take care
