Irregular, Foul Smelling, Extremely Heavy Periods With Clots After Intake Of Cerazette. Side Effects?
Hi I been taking cerazette for about 8 months and I have been having irregular periods throughout this time. This current period is currently on day 15 and it is vile smelling ( stopped using tampons- because when I change then after 2 hours in they smell putrid) and extremely heavy ( huge clots like I have never had before every day and continuing today). I know a side effect of cerazette is irregular bleeding but the smell is awful and the clots are worrying. What should I do?
Reviewed your symptoms. Desogestrol (cerazette) is a progestin only pill, it side effects are irregular periods but your symptoms of foul smelling periods with heavy periods is abnormal. It could be due to infection, kindly consult your gynaecologist as early as possible. They could do examination and some investigations to check for this abnormal periods. Try not to delay.
