Hi,

On and off pain which increases after walking or exercise is suggestive of intermittent claudication. There is higher chance of atherosclerosis in your right limb arteries. High cholesterol level and varicosity confirms it. In my patients i usually prescribe medicines to lower cholesterol level, antiplatelet agents such as aspirin and clopidogrel. These medicines helps in increasing blood flow to that area however block cannot be removed medically. If block is severe or not responding to medicines, i advise them to go for catheterisation of arteries or surgery best done by vascular surgeons.
