Thanks for your query.
Your child is having diarrhea which is mostly viral in nature and settles in few days.
Monitor her hydration.
Give oral rehydration solution sip by sip after each loose stool, give coconut water, lemon water, boiled potato, banana, rice porridge.
Decrease quantity of milk and cows milk is better.
Monitor for features of dehydration like decreased urine output, lethargy.decreased feeding and in case you observe any get her evaluated by pediatrician.

Wishing your baby good health.
God bless..

Pediatrician Dr. Rajiv K Khandelwal's  Response

Thank you for your query.

You have not mentioned since when is your daughter having diarrhoea. If this is of recent origin I suggest that you get a stool examination done. At this age the child tends to put everything in the mouth which can cause infection.

As the birth weight is not known 9 Kg weight for a 13 month girl seems appropriate. You mentioned that her colour is yellowish. I suggest that you get her haemoglobin checked and in case it is low then she would need iron preparations as a supplement.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.
