Infant Developed Fever, Cough And Cold. How To Confirm If Its H1N1 Virus?
Hello Doctor, My daughter is 22 months old. She has developed fever,cough and cold. The fever lasts for almost 6 days now. Fever seems to go off but return again.She don t have runny nose.There is no vomiting or diarrhea. She is eating but not the usual quantity.We took blood test also.How to confirm if its H1N1 virus?

It can be tested by sending secretions from nose or throat. But the treatment would be symptomatic with paracetamol. Tamiflu is used in patients with H1N1 but the side effects are lot.
