In Ultra Sound How Is It Calculating Pregnancy Duration?
i had baby birth on 28 august then i had period on 2nd oct, next period missed due to breast feeding. we met intercourse for a week from 1st december to 7 december...But ultra sound report showing 6 weeks pregnancy on 30th december...how ultra sound calculate 6 weeks but we met 4 weeks before

Ultrasound machine is programmed to calculate the gestational age from you last menstrual period. That means 2 weeks prior to the date of ovulation. Your ovulation might have happened 4 weeks back when you had sex. So the ultrasound machine calculates it from 2 weeks prior to that. So by that the baby will be 6 weeks.
