I Am Having My Menstrual Cycle 14 Days Apart Instead Of 28 Days

I am almost 42 and for the past 2 years I have been having my menstrual cycle 14 days apart instead of 28 days apart. I was sure it was just part of menopause, but now am not so sure. There are no other symptoms. No pain. Just the inconvenience of the 14 day cycle. Is there something else that could be going on?

Hello mam, in my opinion you should get an ultrasound done to see for any endometrium related pathology. At your age these symptoms are not to be taken lightly. Visit your gynecologist with your ultrasound results as she might like to investigate you further in form of a hysteroscopic biopsy. Take care and all the best.
