Hello dear,

Height of an individual is determined by Genetics, Environmental & Nutritional factors and Hormonal factors (most important the Growth Hormone secreted by pituitary gland in brain)
An individual stops growing in height after the fusion of the Epiphyses (growth plates) of the long bones, which occurs by the age of 17-21 yrs in males. may still have a chance of increasing your height.
Make sure that you are taking a healthy & balanced diet, exercise regularly & avoid stress.
Protein rich diet like soya, groundnut, pulses, etc should be incorporated in your diet plan.

One more thing...avoid consuming any over the counter medication which claim to boost your growth hormone & increase may be harmful.

Wishing you Good Health.
Thanks and take care.

Hallo, Mr.Suman magar,
Understand that most of your height will be determinded by genetics.
Height that it's influenced by several different genes. Having two short parents doesn't necessarily mean you will be short, just as two tall parents won't make you a towering giant. However, it most of the people on both sides of your family as short, adds are that you'll be short, too. Don't be discouraged, though is that you can't know how tall you'll be untill you reach full physicial adulthood in your mild twenties.

1. Exercise will not increase your height because bones cant be exercised, meanwhile you can practice Yogic Asanas which help in stretching back and spine.
2. Physique and Height of parents?
3. any present/major illness in past?
4. any nutritional disorder?
5. proper sleep is the best remedy.
6. In Ayurveda we consider bones (asthi) as pitraj (paternal/father) bhav (factor), so drugs/herbs should be directed towards increasing the Asthi Dhatu.
7. balanced diet is useful, eat at regular hours and avoidind skipping meals
8. Avoid alcohol, smoking, lack of sleep, stress, pastries, colas, sweets i.e. which have little or less nutrition value.
9. Regular Pranayam (Anulom-Vilom) exercises.
10. Don't watse your money on Medicines or Products seen in Advertisements.

Hi Dear

Welcome to healthcaremagic forum
It is possible to increase height by 1 or 2 inches by Ilizarov's Technique in ORTHO field surgically. But i wont recommend that . Because it is quite time taking and painful procedure not usually done for cosmetic purposes. And please there is no drug for height increase. Take good healthy diet and do aerobic exercises. Everyone is made by GOD with some special abilities. You have that in you. Get up in life and fly higher. Aim higher. These are small issues which are diverting you from reaching your goal. Good Luck!!!
Best Wishes
