How To Wean Off Celexa Without The Side Effects?

Hello, I am looking for an alternative to taking celexa, as well as a cure for the withdrawal effect of brain lag . That s what I call it when I try to get off celexa, and when I move my head I have a slight tremor or something, or I just feel my brain move separately for my head. That s my best description.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Celexa is a drug used for prominent anxiety with depression. It should not be stopped suddenly otherwise rebound will occur. If you are taking 20 mg, do it 17.5 mg for next 1 months,15 mg in next and so on. Reduce the dose by 2.5 mgm every month and watch for your mood and recurrence of symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh,
