How To Treat Strep Throat With Cough And Congestion While No Relief With Amoxicillin?

Calling for friend of mind who does not have a computer. He went to emergency of Dec. 18 coughing and congested and hard to breathe Slight fever. He was diagosed at the Henry Ford Health Center as having strepth thought and was given antibiotic amorixcillen. (not sure of the spelling. ) He still has the cough and is still congested and it's hard for him to breathe. He doesn't have a primary doctor, He does have humana health care. And is trying to locate a doctor that will see him. The emergency doctor diagnosed him back in December with strepth throat and upper respiratory infection. He has never followed up about the strepth throat afterwards, still are to breathe.

i think your friend may be having a lung infection and may need more stronger antibiotics, rather than just amoxicillin, please meet your ent doctor as soon as possible for further guidance.
