Hello,

The skin in the genital area is very sensitive and can get easily irritated due to friction, certain allergens like laundry detergent, soap, etc.

Here are a few things you can try
- Keep the area clean and dry. Use only mild soap.
- Avoid laundry detergents with heavy scent added.
- Avoid manually irritating the affected skin until it heals.
- Use hydrocortisone cream if itching is present.
- Wear loose comfortable cotton undergarments.

If symptoms still persist after that, follow up with ObGyn to rule out a yeast infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
