How To Treat Headache, Hives On The Arms, Sore And Swollen Throat With White Turning To Black Spots?

Hi, for the last three days, I have been feeling pretty miserable. I started off with sort of a flu feeling and fever and god awful headache. Then I noticed I had hives all over my hands and up my arms a little and my throat was/is very sore and swollen feeling. Yesterday I noticed I had white spots in the back of my throat. However just this morning I woke up because I'm feeling cold and I also noticed the white spots are a little darker in color… My headache is still present and gets worse with a lot of noise or light. What on earth is going on here?

Hi friend,

Thanks for your query.

Your symptoms are suggestive of an allergic reaction (in the upper respiratory tract) to either, inhalant particles in the air; some newly ingested food/drug or, worms infestation.

Anti-allergic drugs, along with a short course of oral steroids; and, a course of antibiotics, if there is evidence of a secondary bacterial infection, will give you substantial relief.

Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.
