I have about four dark patches on my tongue and a stinging or burning sensation when i eat things like salt and vinegar crisps. The patches suddenly appeared two days ago in the evening. Also, i have a dark patch on my left hand with what looks like small rash spots but these now appear to be clearing. I did not burn myself so i don't know what it could be. I have a bile problem and this runs in my mothers side of the family so could these be a sign of kidney problems? I'm a 28yr old female.
I would really appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The patches over the skin and tongue can be because of the allergic reaction of lichenoid reaction to any drugs or food items. Nothing to be panic, you can use topical steroids like triamcinolone acetonide. For the burning sensation, you can use topical anesthetic like lignocaine. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
