How To Treat Enlarged Lymph Node At Back Of Neck?

I've had an enlarged lymph node on the back of my neck/right side for about 6 weeks. I noticed it near a pimple or ingrown hair, about 2 cm in size. the pimple has been gone for 5 weeks and the lymph node is no longer tender but is still quite large and is becoming more 'fixed' . I also have a chronic type pain in my upper right arm.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have enlarged lymphnode. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia most likely.

You should take a course of antibiotics like amoxi clav or cephalosporins.

It it doesn't respond to treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable to rule out tuberculosis or lymphoma.
