How To Treat Constipation, Stomach Discomfort And Flatulence That Hasn't Improved Despite Correctol Tablets?

Hi my daughter says she hasn't been able to have a BM in a week with the exception of a few small pieces. she is not distended and her belly is soft. she is passing flatus. she only has mild discomfort. I gave her 2 correctols 2 days ago with no result. she does have active bowel sounds. I have been trying to add fiber to some of her foods. What else can we do?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Probably she is suffering with habitual constipation. Otherwise her intestines might be sluggish in movement.
I advise you to consult a gastro enterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
Give her enough of green leafy vegetables, pulses, and sprouts which may help her as they contains enough of fibres.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
