How To Prevent Recurrence Of Sinonasal Inverted Papilloma?

hi, my wife has suffered from sino nasel inverted papiloma last year and undergone endoscopic surgery. we are going for regular medical check ups, last week during the inspections, doctor suspected of some regrowth in a small portion, and he has taken sample for biopsy and confirmed again the presence of inverted popiloma. he asked us to undergo a small surgery again to remove the tissues. is it possible to prevent this SP growth?

or will it lead to any other forms of desease in future? thanks,

my wife age 33, height 160 and weight is 40 kg

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is a benign tumor of the nose, so no need to worry much. Electively, it is better to get removed, as it is a tumor. If enlarged in size, then it might lead to breathing difficulty, like respiratory problems. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination and get it operated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
